Summary

The Rwanda Badminton Sports Federation (RBSF) was established in 2017, officially registered with the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) in 2022, and recognized by the Rwanda National Olympic Sports Committee in May 2023.

In June 2023, RBSF became an official member of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) during the Annual General Meeting held in Malaysia.

The Federation has launched a 5-year strategic plan to achieve its primary goal of developing badminton nationwide, with a vision of positioning Rwanda as one of the top badminton nations in Africa.
